The Pupil premium grant is funding to improve educational outcomes for disadvantaged pupils in schools in England.

Eligibility

The following pupils are eligible

• Pupils who are recorded as eligible for free school meals, or recorded as eligible in the past 6 years, including eligible children of families who have no recourse to public funds (NRPF).
• Children looked after by local authorities, referred to as looked after children.
• Children previously looked after by a local authority or other state care, referred to as previously looked after children.

Lunches are freshly prepared on site by the staff and are provided free of charge to the pupils.

At TLE Independent School we regard lunchtimes as a valuable teaching and learning opportunity where personal, social and independent skills can be developed.

Arrangements can be made for pupils who require a special diet. A vegetarian option is always available.

At TLE Independent School there is no specific school uniform, however, our expectations are:

• No offensive or inappropriate logos.
• Appropriately dressed to enable access to the full curriculum offer.
